Quick Start

The shortest path from the five-question quiz to starting or joining your first ritual.

New User Flow

  1. Open Bonded. You land on the welcome screen — no account needed yet.
  2. Tap Get started and answer five quick questions about who you will be talking with and how you like to open up.
  3. Bonded builds a deck for you and shows your first card.
  4. Tap Save my Connection Profile and create your account with Continue with Google, Continue with Apple, or Use email instead.
  5. Complete onboarding: username, age, about you, avatar, an optional profile step, boundaries, notifications, and an optional Premium offer you can skip.
  6. Land on Home.
  7. Start a ritual, or join one with a code.

If you already have an account, tap I already have an account on the welcome screen to skip straight to sign-in.

Returning User Flow

If you are still signed in and onboarding is complete, Bonded opens to Home.

If your session expired, Bonded asks you to sign in again with a new email sign-in link (or with Google or Apple).

If you started onboarding but did not finish, Bonded resumes at the next required step.

If your account was created before the Connection Profile quiz existed, Bonded runs you through the five questions once. Your existing answers pre-select where they can, so it is usually a few taps.

Guest Flow

You can join in two ways:

Entry pointWhat to do
Mobile appOpen the Join tab, enter the 6-character code, and tap Join session.
Invite linkTapping the host's link opens Bonded, fills the code in, and joins for you.
Web invite linkOpen the host's link in a browser, optionally enter your email, and tap Join session.

Joining is free. Free limits apply to hosting rituals, not joining someone else's.

First-Run Walkthroughs

The first time you open each tab — and the first time you play a round — Bonded highlights what is on screen and explains it. A step that points at something you do not have yet (a friend, an insight) waits until you do, then shows up on its own.

To see them all again, open Profile > Settings > App preferences > Replay the tutorial.
